Privacy Policy
Last updated November 7, 2026
WA Hosting (wahosting.com) is a managed website service ("WA Hosting", "we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and your choices. We follow the privacy laws that apply to us.
What we collect
Visits and devices. Like most websites, our servers record each request: the IP address, the address requested, the page you came from, your browser and the time. Our content delivery provider also counts page visits without cookies. For each visit it records information such as the page you came from, your approximate location, your browser, operating system and device, and how long pages take to load. We also record errors, with details such as the page address, your device and your browser.
What you write. When you write something on our website or send it to us, such as the name, email address, website address, plan and message that you enter in the contact form, which reach us by email and are not stored on our website, we keep it to run that feature, to reply to you, to fix problems and to keep our website safe. Please do not type personal information that a feature does not ask for.
Cookies and browser storage
Our site sets no cookies of its own and keeps nothing in your browser.
Our content delivery provider may add a security cookie to block automated attacks. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. You can clear cookies and browser storage in your browser settings.
How we use it
We use it only for what this policy describes: to run our website and the features you use, to reply to you, to apply limits and stop abuse, to fix errors and to learn how our website is used so that we can improve it. We also use IP addresses to limit how often one connection can use a feature. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with providers that help us run our website, and only for that:
- Cloud hosting providers, which run our servers and store our data.
- Our content delivery provider, which delivers our pages, protects them from attacks and counts visits as described above.
- Email delivery providers, which send our emails and bring messages and alerts to us.
These providers may store or process information in other countries, including the United States, where local laws apply. We may also share information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep information only while we need it, and never longer than these limits:
- Web server logs: up to 15 days. App logs, which record errors and some account events: up to 9 weeks.
- Messages and reports you send us: while we need them to reply, to fix the problem or to keep our website safe.
- Totals that say nothing about any one person, such as daily visit counts: no set end date.
- Nightly backup copies of our databases: up to one year.
- Backup copies of the whole server, which include the databases and the server logs: up to 28 days. Any copy kept from a large server change, such as a move to a new server: up to 4 months.
Anything this policy says we delete can stay in a backup copy until we delete that copy.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. You can also withdraw your consent, but then some features may stop working for you. Send your request through the contact form, from the email address of your account if you have one, so that we know that the request comes from you. We reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the privacy regulator where you live.
Children
Our website is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 gave us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Our sites use HTTPS. We limit who can access our servers and databases. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that your information will never be exposed.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page with a new date.
